Ezekiel Brook possibly fight to against Amir Khan

Ezekiel Brook is possibly the best-kept secret in world boxing, but the Sheffield fighter, known as Kell, is set to change that in 2011.

Brook is part in 23 fights and 16 wins, Now he is waiting for a big fight to possibly against Amir Khan. He said, "Amir is a good fighter and I keep hearing how difficult it is for him to get fights - well, I'm available. I'm ready now for Amir and I would be a much bigger attraction than some of the ancient names I keep hearing about. He has talked about moving up to fight at welterweight and I'm the best at that weight in Britain so he can fight me. When he was a lightweight he talked about being the best but he never wanted to fight Manchester's John Murray, who was the best lightweight in Britain at the time. It's the same now that he is moving to welterweight - I'm here, I'm British and I'm a welterweight."

Amir Khan project to comeback and fight in Manchester or Bolton in April but Brook's promoter Frank Warren believes that the Sheffield puncher fits the bill best. He said, "Amir is a tremendous fighter and attraction and Kell is the best prospect out there. I've made a substantial offer to Amir for the fight to take place because I truly believe that it would be a massive event. I also believe that Kell would win and perhaps that is what Amir and his people have realised. I have a top 10 world ranking and I know that Frank is working on making a world title fight for me. There is not a single welterweight in the world I fear and this will be my year. I would love to fight Amir but I have other options and I'm not waiting around for him to agree a fight that he knows he will lose. When I look at the welterweight world champions I know that I can go in and beat all of them".

But the Brook part of the project the biggest Warren appear in March, Warren said, "Kell's ready but managers and promoters are understandably not keen to risk their champions against him".
