After a thrilling points win over Marcos Maidana on his Las Vegas debut last weekend,Khan has blossomed into a big name in America.
The next of Amir Khan is expected to be against American Lamont Peterson.The Bolton fighter has not forgotten about his strong British fanbase and will return to these shores for his next fight.
"My next fight has to be in Britain," he told Ringside. "I get a lot of requests from fans saying 'why don't you come back and fight over here?'.
"I know every fighter likes to go to Vegas, the Mandalay Bays, the Madison Square Gardens, but you cannot forget your home fans. I want to fight here next.
"I want to be back in the ring in April time, maybe the first or second week. That gives me time to have a break then get in training for eight weeks."
