On December 1st,2010,Freddie Roach’s Wild Card Gym doors were opened officially to media as Amir Khan and other Wild Card prospects continued their training for their December 11th fight bill.
At the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas,Khan headlined the show against Marcos Maidana on that night, with the card being aired live by HBO’s World Championship Boxing in the US and Sky Box Office here in the UK.
Super-lightweight prospects Victor Ortiz, Frankie Gomez and Jamie Kavanagh also joined Khan,as they also prepared for their respective fights on the undercard. And Golden Boy boss Oscar De La Hoya also dropped in to check on his charges.
