Andreas Kotelnik sees beating Amir Khan on Saturday as a stepping stone

Andreas Kotelnik wants to join Ukraine boxing greats with Amir Khan fight.

Andreas Kotelnik claims he will dedicate his world title triumph to Oscar-winning actor Jack Palance if he beats Amir Khan.

Andreas Kotelnik sees beating Amir Khan on Saturday as a stepping stone to becoming as dominant as fellow Ukrainians Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko.

The WBA light-welterweight champ defends his title against Khan in Manchester, hoping victory will set up more big fights in his quest to be the division's undisputed No.1.

He said: "Vitali and Wladimir are heroes of mine. The way they have made themselves the best heavyweights is inspiring. But soon Ukraine will have the best light-welterweight too."
